Survalent is looking for a Quality Control Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team and support the delivery of reliable, high-performance software solutions for the energy and utilities industry.
In this role, you will play a key part in validating product requirements, designing and executing test cases, and recreating customer-reported issues to drive effective resolutions. You will work closely with Product Development, Customer Support, and Sales teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction. If you are detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about software quality and continuous improvement, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your career while contributing to meaningful, mission-critical technology.
Responsibilities and Essential Function:
- Verify and validate product and project requirements
- Analyze requirements, design test scenarios and manage test repository
- Prepare and manage test environment
- Execute functional, performance and integration test cases
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts and packages
- Report defects, and follow up on resolutions
- Support customer and sales teams with technical consultancy
- Collaborate with Product Development Teams to build the most reliable solutions
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in computer/electrical engineering
- 2+ years of experience in software testing, system integrations, mobile and web applications
- Practical experience in the software development lifecycle, configuration, and release management
- Familiar with waterfall, iterative and agile methodology (JIRA/Confluence)
- Exceptional inter-personal skills, effective verbal, and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, proactive with a strong work ethic and the ability to operate under pressure
- Strong analytical skills, multi-task, organized and a keen eye for detail
- Be a good team player
