Job DescriptionUnder the direction/supervision of the clinical team, you will perform direct patient services tasks.Accountabilities:Assisting with patient turnsMobilization and transportOrdering suppliesDaily restocking of supplies in patient care rooms and supply storage areasMaintain and distribute departmental monitoring equipmentTransporting patient specimens to the pneumatic tubeContributing to the maintenance of a safe work environmentQualificationsRegistered with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA)Personal Support Worker certificate from a recognized collegeBasic Knowledge of aseptic techniquesCurrent CPRMinimum of two to three years recent experience with inpatient medicine and specialized geriatric patient population requiredAbility to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and has demonstrated teamwork abilitiesExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsDemonstrated excellent interpersonal and organizational skillsFlexibility to meet unit needsDemonstrated ability to work in a highly stressful and fast-paced environmentDemonstrated commitment to continuing education in acute care medicine and seniorsMust demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and CollaborationBasic computer skills and knowledge of Meditech systemExcellent attendance, punctuality and work recordFluent in English (reading, writing, speaking and comprehension)Able to handle physical requirements of the job (ability to lift at least 25-30 pounds)Additional InformationWeekdays/weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements), working across sites.Salary: Minimum: $30.76 Maximum: $31.38Internal application deadline date: January 12, 2026#LI-GG1 #PTOsler values inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
