Responsible for establishing and directing IT projects which have been initiated by the Accountable Executive. These include (but are not limited to) launching new products and services, large-scale application development, systems integration, business acquisition and integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployment. Such strategic projects are often highly complex and large-scale in nature, spanning multiple functions and/or business groups. The Senior Project Manager holds the primary project relationship with senior executives and ensures that a successful business outcome is the prime measure of success. Here are some of the key requirements and responsibilities included in this role: RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to): * Managing team members from business and technology* Understanding and Negotiating task schedules and work assignments, to identify priority of action.* Itemizing tasks* Managing schedules from a 6 month to 18-month window* Following up with individuals in their task* Tracking issues and escalating if needed* Strategic view of the lifestyle and understanding the process and business details. (knowing what are the proper steps)* Experience with standard data center and cloud-based infrastructure builds would be beneficial* Finance/Enterprise Risk/Capital Market business background understanding* Someone who can cerebrally think things through and understand why BMO is actioning steps - think from a solution's point and be able to explain why its done and articulate these details clearly* Create MS Project Schedules* Present and negotiate with CIO level Stakeholders* Should have worked on the project over a year* Have a Blend of Business and Technology* Ability to make decisions (governance structure)QualificationsProject Manager: 5 years (Required)Cloud Migration: 5 years (Required)Present and negotiate with Stakeholders at the CIO level: 5 years (Required)MS Project Scheduling: 5 years (Required)Banking Experience: 5 years (Required)Enterprise Risk Experience: 5 years (Desired)The BMO Contractor Talent Network provides job seekers with direct access to BMO contract job opportunities as soon as they are released.
