Local candidates to Fort McMurray with knowledge of the region, workforce and operating environment are strongly preferred.Responsibilities: Manage project timeline and budget, to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner while meeting project requirements. Provide scheduling for estimates and projects. Organize daily operations. Coordinate with suppliers. Manage change orders including quoting and cost analysis pertaining to the changes in the project scope. Responsible for project reporting such as cost summaries, load count reports, daily LEM reporting, volume tracking and invoicing. Participation in weekly progress meetings. Participation in weekly supervisor and management meetings. Review daily foreman reports for coding. Job site visits with management and supervision. Assisting with budget estimates and quotes. Month end accrual reporting. Attend client meetings associated with pre-tender, post tender and project start-ups. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of experience in earthworks construction and/or oil & gas projects. Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering. Superior computer skills and technical writing. Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Primavera Software. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license. Willingness to work in the Fort McMurray area and live in remote camps, working a rotational schedule. CSO/BSO Certification. Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test.
