You could be part of the Superior Glove Works team We are seeking two (2)Production Associates for a 3-month contract each to work on the night shift out of our Acton Ontario facility.Candidates must be able to follow standard operating procedures. Quality checks will be required to ensure the product is of high quality and meets specifications. Attention to detail and the ability to identify issues are essential for detecting errors and making necessary corrections. This position does not require prior knowledge of the machinery; training will be provided.About the role:Reporting to the Production Team Leader, the Production Associate is responsible for completing various roles in the manufacturing process including filling orders accurately and efficiently, attending production machinery / equipment, etc. This individual is also responsible for product preparation, finishing, quality assurance, and other duties as required that provide support to the Production Team. The night shift is currently scheduled as 10:30pm to 7:00am Monday to Thursday and 10:30pm to 6:30pm on Fridays. * Shift premium would apply for 3rd shift; premium eligibility and rate vary and depend on the shift.Location: 36 Vimy Street Acton ONResponsibilities:Place gloves on hand forms on the dip line machineResponsible for general upkeep of each workstation and working in a safe manner, complying with safety and procedural regulations.Conduct necessary checks on the product to ensure quality.Must be willing to be crossed trained in all aspects of production work, including batching chemicals for the glove dipping process, cleaning totes, etc. to support with vacation coverage.Verify orders and ensure accurate labellingPacking orders accurately, conducting quality checks and sorting of gloves Communicate quality issues as they ariseUtilize vend-pak machine for individual packaging and/or pack gloves in bags by the dozen with accuracyOther duties as assignedQualifications:Previous experience in a manufacturing / distribution environment is preferred; on the job training will be providedHigh school Diploma / GEDGood written and verbal communication skillsAble to lift up to 35lbs, have strong wrists and hands and comfortable in a fast-paced processing environment.Capable of performing detailed work and comfortable with the variety of physical demands including long periods of standingWhy join Superior Glove? Superior Glove is an equal opportunity employer, and we encourage and welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds.
