Location: Toronto, Ontario Duration: 06 Months Job Description: We are seeking a skilled MS Access / VBA Developer to join our team in Toronto for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will have a strong background in database development and integration, with a focus on MS Access and VBA. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, developing solutions, and supporting system upgrades. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications 4 years of hands-on experience with MS Access, including database design, forms, tables, queries, and reports. Proficiency in VBA with the ability to debug and code complex functions and macros. Experience with ActiveX controls, COM, SQL procedures, DAO, ADO, and SQL Server databases. Skilled in creating and managing MS Excel macros and programmatically manipulating worksheet and cell properties using VBA. Experience with MS Access upgrades and Windows Server configuration. Understanding of Securities Derivatives, PL settlement, and PL reporting. Experience with SQL Server Back-End development including SQL Scripts and Stored-Procedures. Experience with Agile development, GitHub, SSMS, and Dataiku. Experience with DBMS Data Modelling, ERD, Data Pipelines, and DQ rules Implementation. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with ETL Work Flow and Python/SQL and Dataiku Recipes using Dataiku Platform. Experience designing front-end solutions with React.js, OpenShift, and API End-Points (APIGEE). Experience with HR systems & workflow management tools such as Workday, SAP, ServiceNow. Experience developing Tableau Dashboards and reusable Work Books. Good knowledge of API Endpoints development using Python Language. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Gather functional and application data requirements from customers. Develop and provide data analysis solutions using Client Access. Support upgrades for MS Office and MS Access. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Integrate best practices in application development, data visualization, and process flows. Utilize external databases like SQL to create comprehensive analysis solutions. Generate various reports as required. Develop and maintain process documentation.
