This hands-on role is critical to maintaining production reliability through preventive, predictive, and failure-based maintenance activities.The Maintenance Millwright / Pipefitter will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment is maintained to required standards while supporting continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence. This role requires flexibility, including shift work, weekends, and after-hours call-outs as needed to support plant operations.What You’ll DoPerform maintenance activities in accordance with established safety standards, policies, and proceduresTroubleshoot mechanical failures and diagnose equipment issues efficiently and effectivelyRepair, rebuild, and maintain industrial equipment and machineryExecute preventive and corrective maintenance to support plant reliability and uptimeRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentationRecommend equipment modifications or upgrades to improve reliability and performanceDocument completed work, equipment changes, and maintenance activitiesCommunicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departmentsWork independently with minimal supervision while contributing positively to a team environmentRespond to after-hours trouble calls and on-call requirements as neededPerform additional duties as assignedWhat You BringStrong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting capabilitiesWorking knowledge of pumps, conveying systems, gearboxes, milling roll equipment, grinders, and filtration systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawingsExperience inspecting, repairing, cleaning, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing tasksEffective verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications is considered an assetCommitment to maintaining ADM’s high standards for safety, quality, and operational performanceEducation and ExperienceIndustrial Mechanic (Millwright) and/or Pipefitter trade certification is considered an assetMinimum of two (2) years of experience as a journeyman or apprentice preferredDemonstrated high level of mechanical competenceHealth, Safety, and Environmental ResponsibilityProven history of working safely and actively participating in safety improvement initiativesAbility to work in accordance with local and provincial legislationFull understanding of and accountability for compliance with all safety and EHS requirements Benefits and PerksEnriching the quality of life for the world begins by taking care of our colleagues.
