Maintenance Technician

Foremost has an immediate opening for a full-time **Maintenance Technician or Millwright **person to join the team at our locations in **Lloydminster, AB**. This position is responsible for identifying and correcting any problems found in machines, equipment or processes in order to facilitate production.
**Responsibilities**:
- Diagnose problems and repair or replace defective parts
- Perform minor and major repair of all buildings, mobile equipment, air compressors, overhead cranes, man lifts and welders
- Conduct preventative maintenance including inspections of equipment to find defects before costly breakdowns occur
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
- Adhere to assembly and installation instructions set forth in vendor manuals and specifications
- Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and other building specifications to plan repair work
- Adhere to all safety standards by following approved safe working plans
- Participate in design and commissioning of new systems/equipment
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Apprentice or Journeyman Millwright
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is considered an asset
- Experience with H-vac and heating systems would be beneficial
- Solution-based when encountering problems
- Valid class-5 drivers license
- Ability to work independently
- Safety Training an asset, but will train as required
