Looking to work for a well-established and rapidly growing company?Seeking an environment equipped with state-of-the-art technology?This job opportunity is for you We are currently looking for forklift operators for our new distribution center in ValleyfieldAs a forklift operator, you will primarily be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, containers, and railcars.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Operating the forklift while adhering to all safety standardsLoading and unloading merchandise according to the company’s established proceduresVerifying item counts and quantities for each transactionCompleting the appropriate documentation following loading/unloadingMoving merchandise safely at all timesFollowing all company-issued health and safety guidelinesEnsuring compliance with established quality standards (product, equipment, materials)Meeting the company’s performance and productivity standardsUsing a scanner to complete transactions in the WMSParticipating in inventory countsPerforming other related tasksSchedule: Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday to Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (36 hours worked, 40 hours paid)What we’re looking for:A valid forklift operator certificateExperience operating various types of forklifts (Clamp, Fork, Raymond, etc.)Experience working in a distribution center (an asset)Experience using a scanner and WMS system (an asset)Strong awareness of workplace health and safetyA positive and determined attitudeDue to current C-TPAT policy, the selected candidate will be subject to a background checkWorking at XTL means:100% employer-paid group insurance after 3-month probationAccess to a group RRSP after the probation periodCompetitive salaryLocation in ValleyfieldA schedule that supports work-life balanceA clean warehouse with brand-new equipmentAnnual allowance for safety footwearFor more information, please contact Frédérick at 514-636-1499 ext. 5147You’ll find your place at XTLTo learn more about our job opportunities, visit our website:
