Position under revision JOB DESCRIPTION The work consists of coordinating activities, equipment, and supervision of the counselors, as well as ensuring the smooth running of daily activities for children and teenagers. EXAMPLES OF TASKS PERFORMED Participates in the hiring process and staff training; Ensures the supervision and evaluation of counselors; Ensures that safety rules are respected by staff and participants; Plans, organizes, and coordinates the camp’s daily activities; Compiles statistical data and prepares required reports; Manages the inventory and storage of equipment used for regular activities and special events; May be required to make purchases such as snacks and decorations using petty cash; Uses, when necessary, various office devices and software appropriate to the position; Responds to information requests from parents and the public; Participates in meetings when required; Performs any related tasks. SCOPE The tasks of the position require a precise order of operations. The employee has little opportunity to plan or organize their activities, as they are essentially predetermined. The work is usually closely supervised.   REQUIRED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Certificates of competence:  College or university studies in progress. Certification: First Aid and CPR; Valid driver’s license. Requirements: Bilingual*; Training in a field related to the position (an asset); One (1) to two (2) years of experience working with youth; Experience in staff management and customer service; General knowledge of Word and Excel. * Knowledge of English is a requirement due to possible interactions with the Town’s residents. TERM OF EMPLOYMENT  January 26 to April 24, 2026: Part-time; up to 10 hours per week April 27 to August 14, 2026: Full-time; up to 40 hours per week Must be available for the entire employment period.
