Geotechnical EngineerLocation: Mississauga, OntarioSalary: $120,000-$150,000 (based on experience)ABOUT:Our client is a Canadian-owned and operated engineering consulting firm specialized in geotechnical and environmental consultation and project management.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES:You will use your knowledge, skill and expertise in working with a wide variety of soil, and earthwork related projects, completing a comprehensive range of tasks. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:Manage and lead geotechnical projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation.Conduct site investigations, field surveys, geotechnical assessments and site assessments.Perform geotechnical analysis and engineering calculations.Design foundation systems, retaining structures, and slope stabilization measures.Review and interpret Geotechnical data, laboratory test results and environmental impact assessments.Mentor and supervise junior engineers, technicians, and field staff, and provide guidance on technical matters and professional development.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
