To be successful as our Chef, you will: Be a graduate of Chef Training or have a Diploma in Culinary Management from an accredited college or equivalent  Valid Food Safety Certification Current Smart Serve Certification Have flexibility to work a variety of different shifts including days, evenings, weekends (including holidays) Have a passion for menu and recipe development Knowledge of cost control Experience in coaching and developing teams Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the Chef role It would be an asset if our new Chef has: Acquired a Red Seal designation Possesses an understanding of therapeutic diets Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and best practices applicable to senior living You can be you while being a part of our family.
