Senior Project ManagerBurlington, Ontario Key Purpose:The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall projects, which will include planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting and control, and will provide direction and to meet the clients’ requests and quality standards. The Project manager’s responsibilities will cover all areas of project management including project planning, cost management, time management, quality management and contract administration.  Key Responsibilities and Duties:Support the design Build Team from sales hand over, this will include project delivery, including design, quality, team management, and leadershipKeep projects on budget by tendering scopes of work competitively and negotiating buyouts of sub-contracts basedIdentify project risks, mitigate company exposure to them effectively and within the terms of both Prime and Sub-contractsDrive project schedules through planning and leading site personalEnsure the schedule is being tracked regularly on an actual vs baseline basisEnsure that the project expectations are being met Inspection of construction sites to ensure quality is being deliveredOversee tendering, bid selection, buy-out approval, and contract administration and post-Construction client support for warranty callsEnsure construction billing documentation is delivered to the Finance Department accurately and on timeAccurately complete biweekly reports and monthly budget forecasting for all projects in a timely manner, while being prepared to provide project updates as they are needed Education and Experience Requirements: A minimum of 15+ years experience in project delivery including all major facets of Pre-Con development, procurement, negotiation, and technical experience in the hands-on delivery of Greenfield and Brownfield construction. Diploma or degree in Building Science, Architectural Technology, or Construction Management or other relevant combination of education and experience. An Engineering degree with a specialization in Construction Project Management is considered an asset. PMP Certified is a plus.Applicants should include a portfolio of successfully delivered projects highlighting food processing, cold storage, or similar ICI / Manufacturing projects.  About The Staffing Exchange : The Staffing Exchange Inc.® (TSE) was established in 2001 to provide corporations with world-class human resource solutions.Our target customers are companies who spend billions of dollars a year in recruiting fees to identify hard-to-find passive candidates - often with less than satisfactory results.With a fast aging population and the need to find more cost-effective ways of identifying candidates who are committed to long term growth, demand for our services has never been greater.Embracing the highest standards of quality and excellence in the areas of permanent and contract staffing, TSE’s customized solutions have been enhanced by the creation and implementation of a standardized approach to address client needs.
