You will navigate computer-controlled equipment, perform complex machine changeovers, and conduct quality checks to ensure product excellence. Since this position is located in Guelph, Ontario, the primary language of communication and documentation is English. Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently to follow safety protocols, document operational data, and collaborate effectively with the production team.Advantages• Competitive starting salary of $21+ shift premiums • Opportunity to work with a global leader in the powder coating industry. • Consistent full-time hours with straight available afternoon or night shifts to support work-life balance. • Comprehensive training on specialized manufacturing equipment and Lean principles. • Supportive team environment that values "Driving Full Responsibility" and the "Advice Process." • Potential for career advancement within the Manufacturing & logistics sector.Responsibilities• Set up and operate production equipment using computer-controlled interfaces to manufacture powder coating. • Record operational data accurately on specified forms to maintain production traces. • Clean and disassemble equipment thoroughly between batches to eliminate cross-contamination. • Prepare tooling for changeovers and perform machine changeovers according to set standards. • Obtain and run samples to test batch quality and cleanliness throughout the production run. • Conduct cabin powder collection to reduce waste and increase machine efficiency. • Package and label finished goods in designated cartons and stack them on appropriate skids. • Scan and transport finished runs or full skids to the staging area using a forklift (if certified). • Spray test panels and perform in-process quality checks to detect defects or deviations. • Maintain a clean workstation in compliance with 7S requirements and Lean Manufacturing principlesQualifications• High School Diploma or GED is required. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing and production environment. • Experience in powder coating or chemical manufacturing is considered a strong asset. • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 9 hours) and perform repetitive lifting up to 55 lbs. • Comfort wearing full PPE, including a face mask, eye protection, and earplugs, for the duration of the shift. • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) for documentation and safety purposes. • Forklift certification or the ability to be trained is an asset. • Ability to work in an environment with exposure to dust, powder paint, and noise.Summary*** Please note that interviews are by appointment only - Our office is not open for drop-ins ***~ All qualified applicants will receive consideration but only those selected for an interview will be contacted. ~Perks of working with Randstad:- Paid Weekly + 4% Vacation Pay Added- We offer a competitive benefits package, available to you on your first dayIf you are interested in this opportunity, review how to apply.How to apply:1) Respond directly to this job posting2) Apply at www.randstad.ca, complete your profile and ensure you submit your resumeYou can also email tara.buchanan@randstad.ca or jackie.kurtz@randstad.caOur services will never be at a cost to you.
