Title: Operations ManagerLocation: Milton, ON Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PMOvertime required during the last two days of each month for month-end reportingSalary: $90,000 – $95,000Bonus: 8–10% annual bonus after one year of serviceBenefits:Health, Dental, Vision 4.5% RRSP match up to $4,000Reporting Structure:Reports to: General ManagerDirect Reports: 6Position OverviewA well-established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and lead multiple departments, including Customer Support, Shipping & Receiving, and Quoting.This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, improving systems and processes, supporting strategic planning, and ensuring high standards of customer service, pricing accuracy, and overall operational performance.The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, hands-on manufacturing knowledge, ERP expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business Administration 5–10 years of operations experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably industrial or shop-floor manufacturingProven leadership and supervisory experience overseeing multiple departmentsStrong, hands-on experience with ERP systemsDemonstrated ability to create, streamline, implement, and enforce operational processes to improve efficiency and close gapsExperience driving continuous improvement initiativesProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and presentation skillsExcellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time-management abilitiesValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles is considered an assetKey ResponsibilitiesLead daily operations across Customer Support, Shipping & Receiving, and Quoting departmentsManage and develop a team of direct reports, fostering a collaborative and productive work environmentImprove operational efficiency by creating, streamlining, and enforcing processes and systemsEstablish and track KPIs, reporting performance to senior leadershipOversee shipping, receiving, logistics, and company delivery vehiclesManage vendor relationships, contracts, and service providersSupport budgeting, cost control, and expense monitoring initiativesOversee quoting and pricing processes to ensure accuracy and consistencyEnsure high standards of customer service and resolve escalated issuesCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and IT teamsAct as the internal ERP lead, supporting system improvements, data accuracy, and user trainingSupport IT systems, onboarding, and data security protocolsDisclaimer: This is currently for an active job opportunity.
