Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) provides Canadians with the highest level of care across a wide range of clinic and home-based community care settings. We are looking for a full time Occupational Therapy Assistant/ Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) to join our team. This OTA/PTA can bring their therapy services skills to our GTA area. Our Therapy Assistant will be working mainly under Registered PTs and OTs to provide health teaching, fine motor, sensory regulation, and exercise programs as part of a delegated program.  Individuals can expect to work within the GTA area. What you will be doing: You will be working with our physiotherapy and occupational therapy team under the supervision of a Registered PTs and OTs. Provide health teaching and perform program plans with clients in-person and virtually. You will be working within a school setting environment and schedule.  Skills needed for success: Recent graduates from a recognized OTA/PTA program is an asset. A proven track record of being able to work independently, as well as comfortable working in a team. Building relationships with clients and their families/ caregivers. Must have a valid Driver’s License and the use of a reliable vehicle.
