Critical Trauma Therapy has an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join our team in the Mississauga area

- Critical Trauma Therapy is a growing private practice providing client-centeredSocial Work & Counselling services as well as Naturopathy, Psychiatry, Psychological Services, Restorative Yoga, and Dietetics
- We're a team of over 50 clinicians and growing
- We work with various population groups and funding sources including MVA, WSIB, EAP, and private pay

**Position Requirements**:

- Interest in working with clients who have sustained traumatic injuries, primarily in the Motor Vehicle Accident sector. Experience in MVA is an asset.
- Opportunities for working with adult and/ or paediatric populations.
- Experience with using a variety of evidence-based therapy modalities - EMDR is an asset
- Assess and treat clients virtually and in the community
- Strong aptitude for report writing and attention to detail is a must
- Develop and implement group programs and webinars
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and time-management and organizational skills

**Duties**:

- Conduct assessments and interviews with clients to gather relevant information and data
- Collect and analyze data related to clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings
- Provide counseling and support services to clients and their families
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and community organizations, to coordinate services for clients
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

**Qualifications**:

- Master's Degree or recognized equivalent in Social Work and/or mental health-related field
- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Professional liability insurance
