Positions expected to work until end of March with possibility of extension.All of our field staff are provided with:Safety gear including company boot (allowance), vests, glasses, etc.Company vehiclePaid training at $31.35/hour, up to a total of $.80 for a full dayWill be transitioned to piece rate once training is successfully completed, unlocking your earning potentialResponsibilities: This position is responsible for installing single phase electric meters by replacing an existing meter (change-out). The new meter and meter module are installed to automate the process of reading a meter for accurate consumption and billing. Requirements: Valid driver’s licenseMust successfully pass pre-employment screenings: background check and driving recordSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (Potential to work Saturdays as well)Must be able to walk up to 5-10 km per dayMust be able to complete a Readme test at %Working Conditions and Hours: Outdoor work environmentLittle supervision to give you freedom to work independently and manage your own dayKnowledge and Abilities: Successfully complete the company’s training program and pass applicable written and field testsLearn and apply safety measure relating to motor vehicle operation and other field related mattersOlameter is one of the largest meter servicing companies in North America with over 1, employees providing services in 30 states and provinces to over utilities.
