Learn more about us by visiting our webpage.Position overview:We are seeking a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) to join our Client Care team In this role, you will support both our client care team and our clinical team members with various duties related to hearing assessments and communication techniques, remote testing, product training and adoption, maintenance and troubleshooting, and community partnership development.This is a permanent, full-time position and will support Central Ontario team at our Bridgenorth and Lindsay clinics. Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm local time and time will be split between both locations. Mileage will be expensed to your non-primary clinic. What we offer:Starting hourly compensation of $29 - $32 / hour based on experience + an attractive bonus programComprehensive benefit package including health, dental, vision + a healthcare spending account, starting on day one of hireRRSP matching programGenerous time off policies including 3 weeks of vacation, 7 paid personal days, + 1 paid volunteer day per yearTraining, learning, + continuing education opportunitiesFriends and family discounts + access to our employee perk programPurpose-driven + people-centric culture with the ability to make an impact in our communities across CanadaWhat you'll do:Act as as a point of contact for customers to answer product-related questions, provide product training, maintenance and care, and troubleshootingEducate customers on product features and benefits to increase product adoption Discuss communicative strategies with customersFollowing established protocols and as assigned by the supervising Audiologist, load existing settings from NOAH following a repair, perform electro-acoustic analysis and verification on hearing aids (with interpretation by supervising Audiologist)Manage documentation pertaining to customer purchases and insurance claims that may include entering prescriptions or hearing aid recommendations into TCM (Electronic Medical software), assisting the customer with third party claims and processes, and providing follow upRecognize and capitalize on sales opportunities through various mediums (walk-ins, customer referrals, telephone inquiries, retention practices, etc.)Conduct effective telephone follow up for new fittings (48 hour follow up calls)Identify and participate in community events and organizations to promote HearCANADA (community-based marketing, CBM)Act as a liaison with physicians’ offices and other referral sources to maximize opportunitiesWhat we're looking for:Completion of a CDA program from an accredited institution Experience working in a hearing clinic or CDA capacity would be an asset, however, we are willing to train someone with completion of the program and limited experienceClear communication skills and comfortability in interacting with diverse customer groups Ability to work under pressure in a busy clinic setting Willingness to participate i some local travel - access to a car and a valid driver's license is required due to the multi-clinic nature of the roleTo join us on our journey in providing Wonderful Sound for All, click the "Apply Now" buttonHearCANADA acknowledges that this posting represents a current, existing vacancy.
