Learning Coordinator

- Designs, implements and manages credentialing for Global Competency, Leadership in Environmental Sustainability, Undergraduate Research, and University Honours certificates in consultation with relevant on-campus partners; follows up and ensures project completion.
- Coaches, advises and supports students on credentialing opportunities and practices.
- Maintains webpage content, information packages, and forms for all current credentials.
- Facilitates information sessions and responds to student inquiries.
- Develops information and resources for a diverse student audience.
- Confirms the conferral of credentials after completion of program requirements.
- Tracks, analyzes, and reports on metrics for student enrollment, success, and retention for all credentials.
- Provides recommendations to inform policies and processes with respect to student success and retention.
- Supports FSD initiatives and events.
- Aids in the coordination of work for the student ambassadors in FSD.

Academic and Administrative Coordinator
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
EXPERIENCE:
- Two years of experience working with students; including:
- Experience with one-on-one academic coaching
- Experience working with relational database software
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES RELATED TO THE JOB
- Ability to review, evaluate and report on programming
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Proven ability to work with university, community and campus constituents and to establish cooperative working relationships
- Proficiency in developing marketing strategies for programs
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and present material
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to serving students from equity-deserving groups
- Demonstrated computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel, Banner, Moodle and Argos
- Ability to establish priorities, organize, schedule and report out in a timely manner
- Ability to collaborate, problem solve and develop relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive, confidential, personal information
- Ability to work within and assist others in navigating through complex systems
