Maintains structured specifications, programming, and development of unit test plans, deployment and post implementation activities. Perform a wide range of complex technical and statistical functions. This includes gathering, analyzing data and making recommendations based on the analysis. Highly creative problem solver who can work in an agile environment, pay close attention to detail, and produce quality work. Must show initiative by offering ideas to help improve the department. Contributes in the development of standard guidelines, policies and work procedures that will support application maintenance and development. This includes IS security, change management, disaster recovery plans, and unit testing procedures and guidelines, as well as help coordination of user training. Participates, as a valued team member, in small to medium strategic, financial, and regulatory, safety, and reputational impactful projects. Development of business cases and project charters, and the evaluation of Requests for Proposal. Able to estimate the effort, set priorities, breakdown tasks, delegation and meet agreed upon milestones and customer expectations. Requirements 2 year Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field. 4 years’ experience related work experience. Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to share knowledge and skills with others. Demonstrated competence in the execution of small projects. Good understanding with applications such as SAP, Customer Information Systems (CIS), Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Mobile Workforce Management (MWFM), Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI), or Content Management Systems (CMS) is an asset.
