You will assemble and test custom/leading edge equipment used primarily in the food industry. The Assembler is responsible for fitting, aligning, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical assemblies, quality, machining and much more. We are looking to add someone to our team who is diligent in their tasks, organized and a strong team player.The Shift is Monday - Thursday from 3pm to 1:30am. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain a clean and safe work areaAssembles, fits, and aligns mechanical assembliesTroubleshoot and repair mechanical assembliesQuality inspections Design and direct product testsWorks closely with mechanical design teamActive member of continuous improvement teamsOrganize outgoing projects and ensure completenessAssists fabricators or assemblers as directedLoading and offloading of freightManual material handling, packaging, and cratingIncoming inspections When requiredTest run equipment In accordance with company policy/ESA; overtime, work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the company All other duties as assigned RequirementsPost-secondary education and/or relevant work experiencePrior assembly experienceWelding and Fabrication experience an assetKnowledge in reading drawings considered a strong assetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAble to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to perform in a fast-paced team environmentFamiliar with basic hand and power toolsMechanical aptitudeGreat attitude with a desire to learn and grow professionallyWe Look Forward to Hearing from YouWe are committed to diversity and inclusion.
