Description :The Data Program Governance Manager is accountable for overseeing the governance of data-related programs that align with strategic objectives in Wealth Data Strategy, Enablement, and Transformation. This role ensures that programs are executed with disciplined adherence to governance, risk, and compliance standards, and delivers value through effective oversight of program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and assurance of outcomes. The following are the accountabilities:Lead the end-to-end governance of data programs, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closureDefine program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in alignment with enterprise strategyEstablish and maintain governance frameworks, standards, and controls for program executionEnsure programs adhere to regulatory, internal, and industry standardsEngage business and technology partners to ensure program alignment and effective communicationReport program progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadershipFacilitate cross-functional collaboration and promote a culture of inclusion, accountability, and disciplined executionApply enterprise risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and escalate program risksEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the program lifecycleFoster collaboration across teams and drive continuous improvement in program governance practicesPromote best practices in program delivery, assurance, and compliance Job Requirements:Undergraduate degree in Business, Technology, or a related field10+ years in program or project management within financial services, technology, or data-driven environmentsProven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs with a focus on governance and assuranceStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in program/project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA)Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologiesExpertise in governance frameworks and compliance standardsPMP or equivalent preferredAgile certificationWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
