If you have a passion for people, enjoy community outreach, networking, continuous education and sales this may be the career for you Responsibilities: Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services. Provide a prompt, accurate, and friendly customer experience. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification. Collaborate with the Agent to establish and meet marketing goals. Requirements: Bilingual (asset not requirement)  Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred. Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening. Creative and critical thinking Dedicated to providing world class client experience Ability to multi-task Ability to make presentations to potential customers. Property & Casualty license (preferred/must be able to obtain) Life License (preferred/must be able to obtain) Perks  Continous training and educational programs Benefits after completing probationary period  Hybrid working arrangments dependant of performance  Course and exam fees to be paid for unlicensed applicants  Paid vacation and personal time Opportunity for growth  Salary $47,000 to $50,000 + commision  These positions are with an independant contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins Agent Network, not Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. The agents' employees are not employees of Desjardins. Independant contractor agents are responsbile for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
