On-Going Financial Analyst Opportunities
Be an integral part of financial decision making by supporting various internal departments throughout the PHSA.
What you'll do
Analyze financial information of projects, assisting with operational reviews, internal controls and business process improvements Develop business cases, budgets, forecasts and benefits analysis to support project and operational decision making Provide leadership in monitoring, assessing, interpreting, highlighting and reporting on financial and project/operational area performance Gather information through research and analysis to build spreadsheets, tables, charts, graphs and reports to summarize information Monitors and analyzes operational and financial information for the project's operations. Forecast results and creating reports for the Leadership Team Builds partnerships with program managers and key stakeholders across internal programs and services, as well as across health care authoritiesWhat you bring
A level of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Financial Analytics, or other related field Professional accounting designation (CPA) 2-4 years+ experience with project and operational financials Strong knowledge of Excel as well as Financial Reporting Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Superior analytical skills and strong presentation skills Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019). As a strong asset for consideration, we are looking for our successful candidate to have: Knowledge of social, economic, political and historical realities impacting indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism and accompanying reports (BC DRIPA, TRC, etc.).Skills & Knowledge
