AltaGas is looking for two students to join our Communications or Sustainability team As aCommunications Intern or Sustainability Intern, you will support initiatives that shape AltaGas’s brand and advance our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments. This role is ideal for students who are passionate about storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability in the energy sector.WhatYou’llDoDepending on placement, your responsibilities may include:Communications Draft and edit content for internal channels (intranet, newsletters) and external platforms (social media, press releases).Support campaign planning, measurement, and adherence to brand guidelines.Assistwith event coordination and employee engagement initiatives.Assistwith ad hoc projects and tasks to support the communications teamSustainability Helping with sustainability reporting and data collection to support ESG goalsContributing to projects focused on environmental performance, energy efficiency, and corporate responsibilityAssistwith ad hoc projects and tasks to support the sustainability teamWhatYou’llBringCurrently enrolled in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or Business.Strong writing and editing skills; attention to detail and brand tone.Proficiencyin Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI or data visualization is an asset.WhatYou’llGainHands-on experience in corporate communications and sustainability reporting.Exposure to ESG frameworks and stakeholder engagement strategies.Mentorship from experienced professionals and networking opportunities.#LI-INTERNSFor Canadian hires: AltaGas hires personnel on the basis of job-related qualifications.
