Description :Structure credit for an assigned portfolio and focused on assessing credit worthiness or risk of potential customers for driving profitable business growth while adhering to TD's credit risk policies. Responsible for preparing credit reviews, approving draw requests and has responsibilities for monitoring and control.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESCUSTOMERSupport the Relationship Manager in booking new business by preparing competitive credit packages in the assigned business segment in a timely manner to meet customer needsContinually deliver exceptional customer service at every interaction and execute on plans to continuously improve the customer experienceConduct appropriate market, industry and client research and risk analysis in support of the credit development and credit submission processes where appropriatePrepare documentation in support of financial solutions for clients, including review and commentary on credit facility term sheets and timely completion of client presentationsPrepare and recommend credit submissions including annual and interim client reviewsAssist the AM in cross-selling the full range of products to existing and new customers, as applicable to maximize revenue/profit and retention of relationships based on the risk profile of the customer ensuring appropriate credit is earned at all timesSHAREHOLDERContribute to the achievement of business objectives through exceptional customer service and risk support to increase profitability and enable business growthSupport the promotion of products, sales, services and banking capabilitiesContribute to business objectives for Operational ExcellenceComplete business processes and procedures in a timely and accurate mannerProtect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk activities as necessaryEnsure documentation that is prepared / completed is accurate and properly reflects client / business intentions and is consistent with relevant rules / regulationsEnsure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all customer transactions / activitiesKeep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impactsMaintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetiteAssume responsibility to minimize operational and regulatory risk by complying with Bank and industry Code of ConductEMPLOYEE / TEAMParticipate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interestSupport the team by continuously enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unitKeep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniquesParticipate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own teamKeep others informed and up-to-date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activitiesContribute to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities; provide training, coaching and/or guidance as appropriate.Contribute to a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforceBREADTH & DEPTHProfessional role with a focus on providing specialized business services, advisory or process / program support for own area of specialty, within defined parametersRequires sound conceptual knowledge in their own field of specialtyInvestigates and analyzes potential solutions; ensures processes and functional programs are implementedExecutes on work with some complexity; generally requiring short to medium-term focus (weekly-monthly)Accountable for own work and effective coordination of processes and information across related teamsDelivers on assigned initiatives / projects /programs with some direction from managementGenerally, reports to the Senior Manager, Commercial Credit roleEXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONUndergraduate degree and/or3+ years of relevant experience***This posting has a pre-identified candidate***Who We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
