The team has diverse capabilities in mechanical engineering, materials science, electrical engineering, instrumentation engineering, project engineering, equipment condition assessment and nondestructive testing.The Engineering & Reliability Team is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 focused on electrical systems.What You Will DoSupport the electrical team in validating electrical components for use inside the downhole toolMaintain clear documentation on design and test developmentInterface with outside material suppliers, contract manufacturers, and product distributorsProvide products support and evolutionPerform design and analysis for electrical systems, including power distribution and motor controlAssist with troubleshooting electrical equipment and supporting reliability improvementsWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Currently enrolled as a third- or fourth-year student in an Electrical Engineering degree or related degree, or alternative program. (e.g., 4 year college program, 2 year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)Legal authorization to work permanently in Canada for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.Physical RequirementsAbility to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areasAbility to climb up to 150 ft above ground level on occasionAbility to lift 30 lb weight when requiredAbility to make confined space entry on occasionWhat Will Put You AheadFamiliarity with PLC programming or DCS systemsExposure to electrical codes (Canadian Electrical Code, NFPA)Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical or control systemsAdditionally, everyone has individual work and personal needs.
