The Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients in a community healthcare setting who present with actual or potential impairments, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.The Physiotherapist educates and communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers with regard to health promotion, physiotherapy treatment, and pain management. The Physiotherapist provides supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervision of Physiotherapy Assistants.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Graduation from a university with a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized school of PhysiotherapyCurrent registration with The Nova Scotia Regulator of Physiotherapy, requiredEligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy AssociationContinuing education course in the area of orthopedics is an assetMaintain current certification in CPREffective communication and interpersonal skillsCompetencies in other languages preferred, French an assetPlease ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.HoursPermanent Full-time position, 75 Hours Bi-WeeklyCompensation and Benefits$38.43 - $50.99 HourlySuccessful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
