Job Title: Associate Lawyer – Commercial Litigation (book of business an asset)Location: Downtown VancouverAbout the Firm:A well-established, full-service litigation law firm in downtown Vancouver is seeking an experienced General/Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing team. With over 30 years of legal excellence, the firm has built a strong reputation for high-quality client service and exceptional advocacy.Position Overview:The firm is actively seeking a General/Commercial Litigation Associate with 4+ years of litigation experience. A portable practice or book of business is an asset but not required. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload and play a key role in the firm’s continued growth.Key Responsibilities: Conduct legal research, case analysis, and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documentsDevelop and execute effective litigation strategies in collaboration with clients and internal teamsManage files from initiation to resolution with a high degree of professionalism and integrityAdvocate for clients in court and alternative dispute resolution settingsMaintain strong client relationships and contribute to the firm’s reputation Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law schoolMember in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia4+ years of litigation experienceStrong legal research, analytical, and writing skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProven ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation options, including either a fee split or salary arrangementTailored compensation packages to align with career goalsOpportunities for professional growth and advancement This is a great opportunity for a skilled litigator to join a highly respected law firm in Vancouver and work on complex and diverse litigation matters.How to Apply: Interested candidates should apply directly to this post, or submit resume to shannon.flowergogpac.
