Description :About the RoleThe Manager, Event Planning & Engagement plays a pivotal role in designing and delivering exceptional experiences across corporate events, conferences, meetings, and internal engagement activities for Finance colleagues. Reporting to AVP, Finance Business Management and Early Talent, you’ll lead end-to-end planning and execution, ensuring alignment with business priorities. The role calls for strong project management skills, creativity, and the ability to work closely with Finance leaders, stakeholders, and external partners to foster a sense of community within the Finance organization.What You’ll DoNo matter where you work at TD you’ll make a meaningful impact, grow your skills and thrive in our culture of care. You'll be responsible for planning and executing a wide range of events for Finance, including conferences, Townhalls, Social events and networking activities. Your work will include:Developing and delivering event plans, including logistics, timelines, and budgetsLeading the planning, coordination, and execution of colleague engagement & corporate events and internal engagement initiativesSupport the ongoing Colleague Engagement strategyWorking with internal stakeholders to define event objectives, scope, and success measuresManaging vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and compliance with budget and quality standardsOverseeing venue selection, catering, AV requirements, and on-site coordinationBuilding digital elements into event experiences, including hybrid and virtual platformsNegotiating contracts, reviewing clauses, and managing risk with both internal and external stakeholdersOverseeing event intake process, monitoring event performance and preparation of post-event reports with actionable insightsEnsuring events reflect TD’s brand values and support a positive colleague and customer experienceJob Requirements What You Need to SucceedWe’re proud to work with a group of diverse colleagues.
