Position Responsibilities:Working in coordination with a variety of Rack Team Members, the Operations Summer Students are responsible to assist the location team in daily operations in a variety of capacities including, but not limited to:Customer managementYard site maintenance and operationsChem shed maintenance and operations Inventory controlProduct deliveryCrop scouting, tissue sampling and soil samplingAdhere to safety protocols and document where possibleAbility to read work orders Overtime and irregular hours expected during busy timesOther duties as assignedREQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Good organizational and time management skillsWell developed customer service and communication skills - written and verbalFarming background and/or agricultural knowledge is an asset1+ year of study towards diploma/bachelor degree, preferably in agriculture is an assetClass 5 driver's license and safe driving recordCan lift and carry 50 lbsWillingness and ability to operate equipment required to operation and maintain the yard/chemical shedBasic knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervisionMust live in or close to the town of Naicam SK
