Additional Benefits Working for Iron Horse Include: - Relocation Assistance (with 3 + years relevant oil and gas experience) - Field Incentive Bonuses - Group Benefits - Matching GRSP Plan - UFA Gas Discount Card - Meal Allowance - 9 Days on 5 Days Off Schedule - No Layoff During Spring Break Qualifications - Experience in the Energy Sector an asset - Must live around the Medicine Hat area or be willing to relocate - Basic IP Network Knowledge - Various 4-20ma and Frequency Sensor Knowledge - PLC System and Control Knowledge - Must be able to work independently, manage time efficiently and be self-motivated. - Willing/able to travel out of town for work. - Be prepared to work extra hours if required and work in all weather conditions - Have clean class 5 drivers abstract - Pass a pre-employment test Responsibilities - Perform regular and scheduled maintenance on coil and fracturing equipment to ensure equipment remains in good working order - Perform repairs on equipment as needed in the field using hand and power tools - Installation and configuration of electronic and electromechanical equipment and instrumentation - Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components - Travel to locations to perform emergency repairs on electronics and equipment - Diagnose electrical and electronic problems and troubleshoot how to correct them using wiring schematics, repair manuals, and part catalogs as necessary - Inspect, operate, and test equipment and components to diagnose malfunctions - Document repairs, inspections, and testing for all equipment - Maintains a safe work environment always following all Occupational Health & Safety requirements - Mentor and train less experienced Electronic Technicians - Perform other related duties as requested
