About the Role:The Manager, Total Rewards plays a critical role in managing the design, implementation and execution of compensation programs and initiatives that align with AGF’s total rewards strategy. You will be involved in all aspects of total rewards, including short and long-term incentives, share-based compensation, sales compensation. The role will ensure programs are effective in support of the attraction and retention of talent and driving high performance. This role is related to a recent vacancy.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the design, review and delivery of compensation programs for assigned business groups at AGFIdentify opportunities and support the ongoing review of compensation practices and programs to ensure alignment with AGF’s strategic priorities, market best practices, and legislative requirementsCollaborate closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to deliver strategic compensation guidance and act as a trusted subject matter expert in total rewardsEffectively communicate compensation programs and policies to ensure HR Business Partners and leaders have a clear understanding of the financial and human capital impactLead the annual benchmarking review process for your business groups, including the analysis of market compensation data, and development of recommendationsAnalyze and interpret compensation data and modelling to evaluate and design compensation plans and programs, such as incentive plan structureSupport the transformation of compensation related data, processes and analytics into Workday and contribute to the continued improvement of business processesDevelop and maintain external/internal network and awareness of market/industry trends with respect to compensationLead / support Total Rewards projects and operationsWhat You Bring:University degree in Business Administration or a related disciplineMinimum 5 years of progressive compensation experience, including familiarity with incentive design; experience in the Financial Services industry is considered an asset.Critical thinker who can connect reward recommendations with the big picture to impact changeStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, with the ability to break down complex problems and simplify for communication and make recommendations based on interpretation of analysisExpert knowledge of Excel with demonstrated experience in complex modeling and experience in creating presentations for senior leadersStrong numeric and financial modeling skills with an eye for detail and accuracyDemonstrated integrity and professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive informationStrong numeric and financial modeling skills with an eye for detail and accuracyCompensation:The anticipated compensation range for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 annually, which represents base salary and, where applicable, variable compensation components (e.g., annual bonus, commissions, etc.). Actual compensation will be determined based on many factors such as role location, candidate experience / qualifications, market conditions, and internal equity.AGF aims to offer a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package designed to support the success and well-being of our employees, which may include a combination of base salary, variable compensation, benefits, and retirement savings plans.
