There goal is to help individuals maintain their independence and continue living at home or in the community.Position: Temporary Full TimeSite: West Park HealthcareAveraging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours Hours: Continental Rotation (0800-2000/2000-0800)Payrate: | $19.19/hour Posting Date: January 15, 2026Internal Closing Date: January 21,2026 External Posting Date: January 29, 2026 Job Description: Patrol assigned area on foot, as assigned, to ensure personal, building, and equipment security.Watch for and report irregularities by completing investigations and incident reports, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel, as required.Utilize two-way radio and computer applications for communicating site activities.Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services by enforcing rules and regulations when required.Offer support to any person in need such as providing good customer service when providing a security presence, such as providing direction, responding to emergency situation involving violent individuals and injuries.Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Prerequisites: Valid Security License for the province of OntarioValid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)Covid Vaccine two dosesImmunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella and two step TB skin testEnglish (oral and written) fluency is a mustPrevious experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the positionPlease be aware: The UoF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availabilityAuthorized to Legally work in CanadaWhy choose Paladin?Opportunities for advancement and growth Unionized benefits (including Education Allowance & Pension Plan) Free Uniforms Annual Boot Allowance Security license reimbursement Dry cleaning & hemming/tailoring allowancePaid vacation & sick daysWork today, get paid today—daily pay available
