The opportunity: Reporting to the Head of Investment Operations, the Analyst, Fund Operations, will be responsible for supporting activities related to our MiBLOX and MiFUND funds structured as fund of funds. This includes monitoring sales and cash projections, preparing subscription agreements, verification of security pricing, daily reconciliations, expense accrual and managing relationships with our various partners. Key responsibilities include: Fund Administration Responsible for daily monitoring of sales & redemptions and corresponding recommendations for fund of fund trading activity. Monitoring schedules for private asset funds and supporting monthly purchases. Supporting inputs required for determining daily/monthly NAV including pricing verifications. Daily reconciliations, including units held of underlying funds and analyzing fund/account data to identify potential problems and developing appropriate solutions as required. Tracking/reconciling fund expenses and preparing supporting documentation for collecting fees. Acting as liaison for escalated items on behalf of iAS with various investment management partners. Enhancing automation of reconciliations. Vendor Management Maintaining daily oversight of our vendors (State Street and IFDS); managing those relationships, ensuring SLA’s are being met. Performing other duties as assigned. Sales Support Support liaison with 3rd party vendors (e.g. CapIntel, Bloomberg, LSEG) to provide data inputs for MiBLOX and MiFUNDS. Provide input for periodic reporting of sales and assets. Enhancing automation of reporting. The ideal candidate will possess: A degree or diploma in business administration, accounting, finance, or similar field of study. 3-5 years’ experience in a similar/related position; experience within investment or accounting, either in an asset management firm or as a fund administrator is a strong asset. Proficiency with the MSOffice suite, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI, Power Automate, Teams, and Outlook. Experience with fund accounting is a strong asset. Demonstrating a high level of accountability, reliability and adaptability in accomplishing day to day work and long-term goals. An ability to work quickly and accurately with a high level of detail. Strong organizational skills. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attitude and commitment to provide extraordinary service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to incorporate new techniques through adopted technology suits to help streamline existing, and construct new, analytical methods. Interest in investments and financial markets.
