As a New Recreation Team Member, you will:

Be enrolled in/completed diploma or degree recreation/leisure studies and/or gerontology from a community college or university Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members

As a new Recreation Team Member (REC) joining our Retirement Village Team it would be an ASSET but not required for you to having the following:

Experience facilitating group activities and programs Have exceptional time management skills and ability to work in collaboration with a team Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents Knowledge of the five domains in Therapeutic Recreation that contribute to an individual's health Knowledge of recreational therapy practices, methods, techniques and opportunities to improve resident's well-being and holistic health
