Description :Under the direction of the Provincial Sales Manager, the District Manager is accountable for maintaining and managing the relationships with several existing accounts, as well as developing new business opportunities in their region. They will work alongside the Marketing department to ensure the successful execution of their programs.Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Promotes and increases sales within territory through aggressive execution of national and regional marketing strategies while working with company policies, resources and budgetsIncreases overall distribution of core and agency brands with vendors and licenseesManages new product launchesExecutes merchandising and promotional programs as per national and regional strategiesCall account tracking and administrative reportsAttains sales objectives as outlined by the companyManages advertising and promotion budget within fiscal allocations as outlined by regional officeFunctions cooperatively and effectively within a team environment while contributing to overall team objectives and dynamicsQualifications:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in territory management (in bar/restaurant would be an asset)University degree or equivalent experienceStrong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsStrong time management and organization skills with attention to detail and accuracyProficient in Microsoft officeSelf motivated and self directedTeam playerMust have a valid drivers' licenseBilingual French/English is a MUSTMust be flexible to work evenings according to eventsAt Corby and Hiram Walker, we’re committed to fostering a workplace that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.
