Calgary Construction Operations is focused on hiring talented Water Truck Drivers for the 2026 Construction Season in Calgary, Alberta. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate a water truck to control dust and provide moisture conditioning for roadbeds and other construction areas. The ideal candidate has experience in conducting environments, a valid commercial driver’s license and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. What You'll Do Here: Responsible for the safe operation and transportation of equipment to various job sites. Conduct pre and post trip inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition. Operate water truck to spay water on road surfaces, construction sites and materials for dust control and compaction. Fill water tank from designated water sources using appropriate hoses and fittings. Operate vehicle in a safe manner adhering to Safety policies and procedures. Communicate with site supervisors and crews to coordinator deliveries understand water needs and resolve issues. Monitor water levels and adjust spray settings to match site requirements. Maintain daily driver logs, time sheets, and inspection records. Communicate with site supervisors and crews to coordinator deliveries understand water needs and resolve issues. Other labour duties as required. What You Bring to the Team: Knowledge of road construction is an asset. Experience Operating Water Trucks is preferred. Strong attention to safety and detail. Class 1 Drivers License. Class 3 Drivers License. Own vehicle to get to and from jobsite. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days a week. Willing to work overtime, as required. Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.
