**Responsibilities**

  • Operate commercial vehicles to transport water to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Load and unload materials, utilizing forklifts when necessary, while ensuring proper handling of materials.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo details as required by regulations.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
  • Address any mechanical issues that may arise during transport, utilizing mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting.

**Skills**

  • Strong understanding of freight transportation processes and regulations.
  • Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to move materials safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
  • Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus.
