We also take pride in maintaining high standards surrounding equity, diversity, and inclusion in our workplace.Purpose of the positionThe successful incumbent is responsible for the following tasks:Operates medium sized equipment on several different levels of projects and roads during all seasonsConducts pre-operational checks and preventative maintenance on equipment.Ensures site is maintained to standard, completing daily clean up/maintenance, snow removal, pothole patching, road signs, facility upkeepWorks with contractors on work sites, at times providing general project direction and supportSafely loads and hauls equipment to various locations; backs up a trailer, etc.Performs manual labour.Participates in on call rotation.Performs Airport Maintenance Operations.Performs administrative, safety, and other duties as required.Want to be a part of our County team?Job Requirements:Grade 12 Diploma4 to 6 years previous experience operating heavy equipment. Experience plowing snow with a Grader is an asset.Class 3 Drivers License.
