Physical ability to independently move/lift 50 lbs., work in environments with Must have excellent math skills Basic mechanical aptitudePrevious experience with pumps, hoses, compressors, and preventative maintenance checks and lock out tag outMicrosoft Office experience required Experience in manufacturing, or in the chemicals industry Experience driving ISO/Tanker containers using a yard truck desiredGas chromatography Chemical blending and transferringHigh School Diploma or GED (Required) Day-To-Day:Our Process Operator works under the direction of our Plant Manager to perform timely, high-quality work. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain safe operation of the distillation tower by managing the production of blends, chemical transfers, and bulk cylinders movement.Assist with the daily monitoring of the separation towers to ensure the smooth and efficient running of site operationsReport any faults, site, and maintenance issues to Maintenance to ensure site safety and product qualityAccurately monitors inventory levels of material into the column for separation and finished goods productHandles high and low-pressure gas and takes and monitors samplesDemonstrate the ability to be a safety leader by fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring a safe work environment with a commitment to zero injuries, emissions, and leaksMust safely operate a manual power jack.Understands hazards of various gases, sizes, and contents of cylinders by reading safety data sheets and cylinder labelsEnsures that processed product meets established regulatory, customer, and A-Gas internal requirements and specifications Follows quality protocol concerning required documentation of verifications and the documentation, notification, and handling of non-conformitiesMaintain high standards of housekeeping.Maintain RSI safety programs and adhere to Nova Scotia OHSA regulations.Any other tasks, as requiredOUR MISSION:We are proud to be a global leader in specialty gas and chemical management, but what truly sets us apart is our people and our workplace culture.
