Laboratory Technician

Missions essentielles We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations, ensuring accurate analysis of malted grains, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical competence, and a commitment to quality. Your responsibilities include and are not limited to: Comply with all health and safety policies and actively participate in site safety initiatives. Sample reception and preparation to ensure timely and accurate processing. Physical analysis of malted grains using established laboratory methods. Wet chemistry analysis of malted grains to assess quality and composition. Work with LIMS or internal database to record, track, and manage laboratory data. Maintain accurate record keeping including active participation in document control systems. Stock reagents and consumables to ensure laboratory readiness and efficiency. Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment. Carry out other duties as assigned to support laboratory and site operations. Master recherché Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related field. Prior laboratory experience preferred, especially in food or grain analysis. Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques and physical testing methods. Experience with LIMS or laboratory databases is an asset. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Fluently spoken and written in English.
