Electrical BIM Technologist

Responsibilities Design and Project CoordinationAssistance with the completion of drafting and CAD for variety of project types including mechanical, fire protection and electricalApplication of 2D and 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other specialty programs to produce design drawingsCoordination and completion of field assessments and information gatheringEnsure the assurance of quality, consistency and integrity of deliverablesAssist the senior team member during preparation of preliminary drawings/sketches/notes for projects, redlines and plans for submittalsAssistance to project managers and engineers in the functional and detailed design of building systemsCollaboration with multidisciplinary team members including engineers, planners, scientists, and technical and administrative support staffBusiness travel to project sites and to other Dillon offices upon requestLearning and DevelopmentCommit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional developmentContribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees Qualifications Diploma from an accredited Electrical Engineering Technologist Program, or equivalent5-10+ years of relevant experience Experience Experience in the latest versions of AutoCAD and RevitExperience in interpreting and implementing relevant codes, standards and regulatory requirementsExcellent oral and written communication skillsHighly organized and detail-orientedKeen to be part of our growing teamStrong verbal and written communication, organization and interpersonal skillsWhy choose DillonDillon is powered by people who are technically proficient, passionate about socially important projects, and motivated to deliver superior, tangible results.
