Description : Analyst, Sustainable Investment, Private Markets:This position will report into Head of Sustainable Investment team at TDAM, a team that is part of the investment team and serves as subject matter experts on Stewardship, ESG Integration and thought leadership. This position will work very closely with the lead for ESG integration for Private Markets, as well as other members of the Sustainable Investment team, and will play a critical role in supporting ESG integration across real estate, infrastructure, private debt, and mortgage strategies.Data, Analysis and Reporting:Coordinate the collection, aggregation, and validation of sustainability performance data across private-market strategies, including asset-level metrics such as energy, water, greenhouse gas emissions, waste, certifications, and climate risk metrics. Conduct detailed ESG data quality checks, troubleshoot issues, ensure data integrity, and uphold data management standards.Leverage ESG data to generate portfolio insights and track performance against KPIs and targets.Support the development of ESG performance scorecards and analysis tools to monitor progress, identify data trends, and provide meaningful insights.Support the enhancement of data collection methodologies and survey processes to improve data quality, consistency, usability, and relevance.Prepare input for external reports and assessments (e.g., GRESB, PRI, bulletins, third-party assurance, and TDAM annual reporting).ESG Integration & Research: Review, update, and maintain existing sustainable investment policies & procedures.Assist with ESG due-diligence assessments for new investments and monitoring processes during the hold period.Conduct research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks (e.g., SFDR, building performance standards, green loan principles, CRREM) and assess their implications for private markets investment. Support sustainability-related engagements with key internal and external stakeholders to support continuous improvement and advancement of strategic priorities.Contribute to thought leadership, internal and external communications, ad-hoc projects, and sustainability research initiatives.Required Experience, Qualifications and Skills:2-3 years of professional experience in sustainability or ESG, ideally within real estate or infrastructure sectors.Graduate or undergraduate degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, or related field.Relevant sustainability or financial certifications such as CFA Sustainable Investing Certificate, GARP SCR, Certified Energy Manager, or similar credentials are considered an asset.Experience working with ESG-related datasets (energy, emissions, water, waste, etc.).Familiarity with sustainability reporting and policy frameworks such as GRESB, TCFD, and SFDR.Familiarity with greenhouse gas accounting, decarbonization strategies, renewable energy procurement, and climate risk assessment.Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (Python, SQL or similar).Strong data management capabilities, including data validation and quality assurance and managing large and complex datasets.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.Skilled at communicating complex data and technical concepts in a clear, engaging way to varied audiences, both in writing and through verbal presentations.Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively toward shared objectives.**4 days required in the office**Who We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
