**Job Summary**

As a Senior Energy & Sustainability Analyst at SSES, you will play a pivotal role in empowering communities across Canada to diminish their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and transition towards more sustainable practices. Your expertise will guide our diverse clientele in implementing energy-efficient retrofits, leveraging government incentives to mitigate upfront costs, and enhancing their overall environmental footprint. This position demands a comprehensive approach to managing energy efficiency initiatives and conducting detailed energy audits, alongside evaluating and administering provincial and national sustainability programs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Write about sustainability. Putting together resourceful content about sustainability and energy that can be used by the commercial building and Co-operative homes industries to educate and promote green project implementation.
- Manage energy efficiency projects for clients. This involves investigating opportunities for district energy suppliers and conducting technical analysis to be used in developing business cases. This also involves working to procure vendors and managing the implementation of projects.
- Conducting technical analysis on energy efficient projects (i.e. VFD upgrade, motor upgrade, chiller replacement, etc.)
- Reporting for numerous project
- Conducting energy savings analysis for buildings across the nation and reporting on GHG emissions and water savings. Looking at the impacts of weather on energy use.
- Researching new technologies and creating tools for clients to be used to asses project feasibility.
- Communicating with the team and with clients as required

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of an Engineering bachelor’s degree program or equivalent required.
- Bilingual in English and French is a must.
- Experience conducting ASHRAE Level II Energy Audits
- P.Eng, CEM or CMVP designation an asset
- Previous experience working at an energy consulting firm is a must.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (VBA and Macros specifically)
- Experience with high level writing
- Experience with Social Media and brand development (preferably LinkedIn)
