At Red Barn Market, we take pride in providing our community with delicious deli offerings. As an Assistant Deli Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality deli products at our Mattick’s Farm store. This is a temporary role with the possibility of becoming permanent. Responsibilities Team Leadership: Assist the Deli Manager with overseeing daily operations including food preparation. Team Management: Assist with training and develop deli staff and supervise in various duties such as cooking, packaging, and serving. Product Knowledge:Be well-versed in our deli products, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches. Food Preparation:Prepare and package sandwiches, pizza, salads, hot food, and more. Inventory Management:Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimize waste. Stocking & Display: Manage product storage, rotation, and merchandising. Customer Service:Interact with customers, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Food Safety:Adhere to health and safety regulations in food handling and sanitation. Great attitude and work ethic. Outgoing and energetic personality. • Availability: Flexible schedule, evening and weekend availability.
