Silvertip is more than just a resort; it is an extraordinary experience where nature and luxury seamlessly blend, creating unforgettable memories for all who visit. Position SummaryReporting to the Maintenance Manager - the Maintenance Assistant supports daily maintenance operations across the resort, including facilities, equipment, and grounds. This is an hourly role with a flexible schedule over five days per week. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of all resort areas. Why Silvertip ResortDiscounted: golf privileges, staff meals, restaurant meals, grocery and golf shop purchases at Silvertip Resort & Eagle Ranch Resort.Our people experience working at a world-class Golf resort.We offer a diverse and engaging work environment in a unique location.Close to many outdoor adventures - Banff National Park, Kootenay National Park, Sunshine Resort, Lake Louise Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, etc. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Maintenance Manager with daily maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.Perform general maintenance duties such as painting, patching, fixture repairs, basic carpentry, and minor plumbing/electrical troubleshooting.Complete work orders and respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.Conduct routine inspections of resort facilities and identify areas requiring repair or maintenance.Assist with preventative maintenance programs and equipment servicing.Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.Support inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels.Follow all health and safety procedures and report hazards or concerns promptly. RequirementsPrevious experience in maintenance, trades, or facility operations is an asset.Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks safely and efficiently (painting, patching, small repairs, minor plumbing/electrical troubleshooting).Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Valid driver's licence is an asset.Eligible to work in Canada full-time.Flexibility to work a 5-day schedule, including occasional weekends or evenings as required. Stone Creek Resorts Inc. is committed to supporting a diverse workforce from various communities within which we operate.
