JOB DESCRIPTION: You will perform routine packaging line assembly as well as clean and sanitize line work stations/areas. Your strong work ethic and can-do attitude are enhanced by the flexibility to work three rotating shifts on a weekly basis. RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS REQUIRED: Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment Check and weigh materials and products Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products Assist Machine Operators, Assemblers and other workers Clean work areas and equipment Perform other labouring and elemental activities Operate powered pallet/straddle jacks Other duties as assigned WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast paced environment; repetitive tasks for varying durations; handling heavy loads (25kgs); physically demanding at times; manual dexterity needed; attention to detail; hand-eye coordination; standing for extended periods; work can involve crouching, lifting, walking and turning with varying weights. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Highschool diploma or equivalent Heavy industry; shift work (8 hour rotating shifts). Must speak and understand English A pre-employment medical and drug screen is required along with employment references and criminal record check.
