Job Title: Core L3 SRE Location: Montreal, Quebec  Duration: 6 Months  Introduction We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT with hands-on experience in supporting BI platforms and a deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems, scripting, and automation tools. This role involves managing and supporting a variety of in-house applications and ensuring service stability through proactive engagement with engineering teams. Required Skills & Qualifications 8 years of overall IT experience Advanced Linux / Unix support experience Strong shell scripting and Python programming skills Experience with Splunk or Grafana/Prometheus/Loki stack General understanding of Veritas Cluster Service, Load Balancers, and Client Knowledge of ITIL principles Effective oral and written communication skills Strong organizational and coordination skills Availability for weekend work Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience in application support and code release Experience with Ansible playbooks and Ansible Automation Platform administration Experience with Terraform, especially Terraform Enterprise Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift Experience in development toolchains such as Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD tools Experience in Agile methodologies Knowledge of JVMs and garbage collection mechanisms Experience with relational databases Day-to-Day Responsibilities Manage and support in-house applications for application management and coordination Act as the highest level of escalation for service stability Provide Level 3 support for middleware products with on-call coverage Manage the infrastructure environment, troubleshoot issues, and handle changes and incidents Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve problems and automate processes Company Benefits & Culture Inclusive and diverse work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Comprehensive benefits package For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
